It is very unfinished, by the end you’ll notice that the panels aren’t t even secured to the structure, their just plopped down on the structure and not even secured, IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS LEGO, you guys could have easily secured the panels with one piece. It is very big and very heavy, especially the box it comes with, make sure you have lots of room to build this set, I greatly underestimated its size and how many pieces it comes with. I would recommend to any Star Wars fan looking for a huge dose of nostalgia and a really cool display piece! The build took me over 20 hours, and it was the right amount of challenging and rewarding. This was a Christmas gift my wife purchased for me, and after not building legos for over 20 years, I have to say this sparked a new hobby for me. Such a great build! It gets finicky in some spots trying to connect the interior and the bottom, particularly the front middle bit but I love all the details! The one bad thing would be the order of the bags in the boxes, spent 40mins resorting the bags so it was easier to pull out the next bags I would like some parts to be more fixed assemble. The only negative side, is that is very fragile, and you need to be very careful with it. Is beautiful to have it in the office all day just to know it is there. Of course the finish details are amazing. I liked the structure how was built, and the interior ambients. It took us 1month and a half, because we did it slowly when we had time to enjoy it. I have wanted to have the experience of building the Falcon for many years. I am not done but started it and can't wait for the finished outcome. This was the first largest set they ever sold to the public so of course it had its challenges. Was shocked when i read this was only 17 bags. Organizing the legos to get ready for the build takes a lot of space since theres so many bags per number. I'm glad though now they separate out the bags more and the books are smaller and the bags go in order in the separated boxes which is probably the only downside to this build is the book takes up most of my table space. Lego has advanced a lot in their larger sets since this build. For such an expensive set this should be a given, it’s not. I would highly recommend this set!Įvery other stage there is a missing part.
