![]() ![]() Rosenstein, who also helped create Gchat during a stint at Google, and now leads a San Francisco-based company that improves office productivity, appears most concerned about the psychological effects on people who, research shows, touch, swipe or tap their phone 2,617 times a day. “It is very common,” Rosenstein says, “for humans to develop things with the best of intentions and for them to have unintended, negative consequences.” Instead, they tend to have worked a rung or two down the corporate ladder: designers, engineers and product managers who, like Rosenstein, several years ago put in place the building blocks of a digital world from which they are now trying to disentangle themselves. These refuseniks are rarely founders or chief executives, who have little incentive to deviate from the mantra that their companies are making the world a better place. And Rosenstein should know: he was the Facebook engineer who created the “like” button in the first place.Ī decade after he stayed up all night coding a prototype of what was then called an “awesome” button, Rosenstein belongs to a small but growing band of Silicon Valley heretics who complain about the rise of the so-called “attention economy”: an internet shaped around the demands of an advertising economy. This one is available from Tuesday the 23rd of May. ![]() The quest on Wowhead (currently) says you have to kill 5 rare elites, but in actuality, you need to kill only 3. Rare Elite Demon Commanders are noted on your map with a Green Skull when up, so they are pretty easy to find. ![]() While the skull is up, a demon will respawn fast. So if you arrive too late and find the demon dead, you only need to wait a minute for it to respawn, if you map still displays the skull. Kills of a rare only count the first time. It is not a rare for you when it respawns after you kill it, so you need to kill 3 different ones. Overall, this quest isn't the worst in the series. The only problem you may run into is less than three being up. Kommentar von SunstringerHere's a list of some rare spawns in case your map is bugging and skulls aren't showing up: It's possible for none to be up.Īs noted by Lenair and Sipder, you need to loot the rare for it to count.Įarlier, completing World Quests was also giving credit, but this has been hotfixed. Kommentar von Dahrkmezalf To summarize and clarify:ġ) Most of the mob icons will disappear when you accept this quest. "An illusion?" - they still spawn (you just have to find them), and killing them counts for the quest.Ģ) Killing the same mob twice does not give credit. They have to be unique kills.ģ) Depending on your class and ilvl (which may be low if you're trailblazing for your Class Mounts), you're definitely going to need some help taking these guys down.
